Read the materials required for topics 8 and 9 about accessibility, validation and promotion. Then: 1. Send a critique of a web site from the standpoint of accessibility to the ListServ, particularly if you find a site that either is quite unaccessible or that is very good from this standpoint. 2. Submit one of your assignment pages (or a project page, if you are that far on your project) to Dr. HTML or the W3C validation service as requested in unit 9. Send a message about lessons learned from trying to validate if you find something of particular interest. 3. The assignment to do a press release is optional. If you do a press release, please share it with the class by either posting it and sending the URL to the ListServ for comment or sending it as text to the ListServ. If you did not complete Task 2, please do so. This task is required for the course, in addition to your semester project, to demonstrate you know the fundamentals. Continue planning your web project. |
