Adding More Sound in Netscape.

If you audience is using Netscape you can use an embed tag such as <embed src="soundfile.ext" controls=small-console width="150" height="50" align="center"> where "soundfile" is the name of the file and "ext" is the extension indicating whether the file is wav, au, aiff or midi.

Instead of a "small-console," you can also choose a console, small-console, pausebutton, playbutton or volumelever. You can also add a "loop=n" where "n" tells the number of times you want the sound to repeat. I have added an "autostart=true" to the tag for this page.

This embedding will also work to some extent with late-version Explorer browsers, but may give your viewer an error message.

Explorer browsers also recognize a <bgsound> tag, but that is not recognized by Netscape.

try Explorer to see tag for a background sound
